...sort of.
I'm heading to Japan tomorrow for my annual solo-travel. I booked Business Class on Thai Airways (TG) and an aircraft at a time of booking was 777-300, which still has angled-flat seat. TG is notorious for frequent aircraft swap. If you book your ticket far in advance, the chances are you won't get the aircraft that you booked for. This had happened to me 4 times. I originally reserved the seats on aircrafts with newer full-flat seats, and they were all swapped to old 747 with angled-flat. However, for the first time, I finally got lucky with this lottery. They swapped my flight from Bangkok to Sapporo on 777-300 to 747. This flight only has Business and Economy Class. Therefor, first class seats on this 747 particular flight are going to be used as Business Class. And I happened to be 1 of 9 passengers who were assigned to First Class seat, and same for my return flight as well.
