S350d AMG AdBlue Fault update

Updated: Jul 4, 2018

Update on AdBlue issue. We took #S350d back to the dealer next day June 29th Friday to have them repair this issue. At first, they thought this was a simple software issue and believed installing software update would fix it. So we waited couple hours. Later, they came back telling thing had gotten more complicated than they initially thought. They would have to contact the tech in Germany. So we had to leave our S350d at the dealership. Under normal circumstance, they wouldn't provide a loaner car for free, but for our circumstance, they gave us brand new latest Test Drive vehicle to use until our car is fixed.

We were given #E350e Plug-In Hybrid. I have never driven any Plug-In Hybrid vehicle before. This would be a great opportunity to test drive it for extended period.

As of today Saturday 06/30, our car is still not fixed. We drove this E-class around all day.

We went to Siam Paragon for dinner, and for my very first time, we parked at EV charging station.

In order to use this charging station, I had to install EA Anywhere app on my phone. Register it, reserve the charging spot, and pay the fee with my credit card. I paid 110 Baht for 180 minutes.

At around 5pm, we got a phone call from a dealership telling our car will be fixed and ready for pickup on Monday (July 2nd) afternoon.
