Went to stay at Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa for 3 nights. I was able to book 2 rooms with free breakfast and additional 1000 bonus points. This is a last minute deal. If you book weeks or months in advance as most travelers would, you have to pay additional for breakfast. However, don't wait for last minute deal if you are coming during busy seasons. Platinum/Gold Elite member won't receive free breakfast at Marriott Resorts and there is no lounge.
As a Gold Elite member, I'm entitled to room upgrades if available. I wasn't expecting much but we actually received big room upgrades this time. Even though I wasn't Platinum member, they upgrade me to suite room #6210 and connecting room #6211 with direct access to pool from both rooms.
